Applications for 2026 PhD and Post-Doc funding for women engineers and scientists from the world’s developing and emerging economies are now open.

This year, we are particularly keen to see applications from the following academic disciplines: Physical Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics.
To apply, you must:
- Be a woman from an eligible low- or middle-income country.
- Be pursuing a PhD or post-doctoral research in a STEM field.
- Be enrolled, admitted, or have applied to a university or research institute abroad.
- Have an excellent academic record.
- Be committed to returning to your home country to contribute to its socio-economic development.
- Demonstrate leadership, community engagement, and a track record of encouraging women and girls in STEM.
